Every day we are being exposed to natural and man-made toxins, and the danger really is in the dosage. In toxic doses, all of these compounds can negatively affect human health. Surprisingly, many of these toxins can be found in the everyday products we use such as plastic bottles, packaging, detergents, cosmetics and pesticides. Some of these toxins are already well known, like lead and mercury, but others exist too, like benzene and BPA. While the use of some of these toxins is now regulated, many are still permitted and are widely found in our environment. It is therefore up to you to decrease your exposure to them as much as possible. In this weeks episode Anna and Ru chat about how you can be more aware of your environment and what to do about it.
